ImageThis is a picture of Sandusky OH’s shoreline at night. The little triangle of lights to the right is the coal dock. A good night not to be in the marina because the wind is north easterly and there is a ship being loaded with coal so the dust will be flying.

And only three more Friday nights on the boat before we haul her out for the winter. i have to confess I brought the little electric oil heaters to the boat today though hopefully we won’t need them. Not that they are any use while we are at anchor. And it was dark by 7:30pm.

Just seen this. Why are Americans giving up their citizenship?     Going to snuggle up in my bunk, listen to the water slapping against the side of the boat, the wind in the rigging and the grunt of the anchor chain lurching across the bow fitting.     Joanna
