ImageThat’s Duck Day in Pittsburgh. Yes, the long awaited arrival is almost here. The 40ft duck will be ‘swimming’ up the Ohio River and then the Allegheny River to just off PNC Park. And there it will ‘roost’ (not roast) as a sitting duck for the next couple of weeks. Shouting “… a l’orange sauce” at it will be like water off a duck’s back. It’s bright yellow and floats 40ft high so catching a glimpse of it will be duck soup. And so long as you have all your ducks in a row,  you might be able to duck out early from work to be there for its grand entrance. Apparently 6th Street Bridge will be closed to vehicular traffic in the afternoon/evening. The duck is supposed to arrive around 5pm. I’ll see it next week.        Joanna
